I had the privilege of working on a UI design project for Umbrella's latest software—a management tool integrated with AI for promotion and campaign management. The software aimed to provide users with a quick and comprehensive overview of their campaign performance, while offering the convenience of the 'AutoMagic Assistant' AI chat bot for instant promotion development.
The developers approached me following the company's recent rebrand, seeking a UI and UX design that would align with the new brand identity while ensuring ease of use for average users with limited computing knowledge. To achieve this, I drew inspiration from Apple's exemplary demonstrations of UI and UX in MacOS and iOS. Incorporating a neumorphism-inspired design style and adopting gradients and gaussian blurs to feel familiar to well designed software already in the market, I aimed to create an interface that conveyed the tactile experience of physical buttons without delving into skeuomorphism. By maintaining the company's recently established design language—both enjoyable and professional—I strived to make the software visually appealing and on-brand.
During the design process, I had the opportunity to conceive the name and concept for the 'AutoMagic Assistant' AI chat bot. With the emergence of ChatGPT and the growing trend of AI integration, I saw the potential for an intelligent assistant that could streamline promotion development. This idea aligned perfectly with the software's objectives, and the developers are now actively working on integrating the 'AutoMagic Assistant' into the platform.
The accompanying mockups also showcase the adaptability of the software, demonstrating how the dashboard can be accessed seamlessly through a web browser. The project allowed me to combine my passion for UI design, my fascination with AI trends, and my commitment to delivering a user-friendly experience that empowers users in their campaign management endeavors.
